Introduction:
After having grown up surrounded by motorbikes I started my own motorbike "career" with a moped as soon as I was allowd at 16, this transitioned into geting my A1 motorcycle license (up to 25Kw) right after I got my car license. After having driven a 25Kw bike for 2 years this automatically transitioned into a full unrestricted A license.
As you can see below I nicknamed all my bikes with my own BTA nickname folowed with a number in the order that I got it.

BTA 1: KYMCO K12:
My first moped (or brommer / scooter as they are called over here) was this KYMCO K12. I got this one at the age of 16.
Back then you were not allowed to take driving lessons for a car or motorcycle license untill the age of 18, but you could get a special moped license from the age of 16. These mopeds had to have a cilinder of maximum 50cc and a max speed of 50 km/u (but you are not allowd to drive faster then 45 km/u).
After an accident where a truck driver did not give me right of way the moped was total loss. The engine however lived on and was build under a KYMCO DJ after I sold it, resulting in a freak hybrid between a K12 and a DJ.

BTA 2: Aprilia SR 50:
After the KYMCO I got this Aprilia SR 50 for the remainder of my moped days.

My first real bike. Due to how the law was set up (at the time at least) you are only allowed to drive a bike up to 25Kw if you got your license before the age of 21. This one was therefore tuned back a little. The "Puig" fairing on the front of the bike is not standard as the GS500E is normally a naked bikeStandard GS500E (Newer model - Picture from Wikipedia). |

I bought this Gixxer After I got my full A motorbike license, it served me well for 12 years and it still looked almost brand-new when I sold it. The looks of this specific model are still one of my all-time favorites when it comes to (Super) Sport / Racing Bikes. I made some modifications during the years customiing the bike even more to my liking. Selling the bike was a difficult decision, but I finally decided that it was time for a bike more suited for relax touring. The mods incude among others:

This is (as of this writing) my current bike. I bought it after I decided it was time for a bike more suited to just relaxedly cruise around on compared with the Gixxer. I ended up going for the little brother of my dad's Intruder 1500My dad's Intruder 1500LC. I went for the 800 as is a bit lighter in weight and more agile then the 1500. And even being "only" 800cc the bike still had plenty of torque and doesn't feel slow in the slightest. |

BTA 3 & 4 together:
Sometime after I sold the GS and bought the Gixxer i met up with the girl who bought it, allowing me to get some pictures of the two bikes together.
Mini Bikes:
We once gave my father a yellow minibike as a gift and later I received the black and white one from my friends for my birthday. Mine is however starting to show its age.
Suzuki Intruder 1500 LC (Dad):
My dad's main bike (and the big brother of my 800C) a Suzuki Intruder 1500 LC.
